GET TO KNOW ME
Welcome to my office!
In counselling, connection is everything, and I offer my clients an authentic, trusting therapy experience in a calming, cozy space to inspire the healing process. My therapeutic approach combines elements of mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, and somatic therapy (focusing on bodily sensations) to deepen self-awareness, with a little dose of fun and laughter thrown in. With your new self-insight comes meaningful, lasting change and relief from long-endured symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My education includes a Master's of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a certificate in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International, and training from the Pacific Post Partum Support Society and Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings. I have also completed Level I & II of Mindfulness Based Somatic Therapy for treating deep-seated trauma.
When I am not in sessions in my office, I am parenting my two daughters, playing in the West Coast forests and ocean, practicing yoga, or crafting something creative.
I am passionate about supporting my clients in their journey to improved mental health, and I am looking forward to connecting with you.
It is with gratitude that I acknowledge that I work on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish First Nations people.
